Monday, October 13th was a day off from school due to Columbus Day so we decided to have a whole day of fun. First we went to the drive through car wash (which Riley is terrified of - screams as all the water and brushes hit our van) and then stopped at Chuck E Cheese's. The kids have so much fun running around and playing games~
Next stop was Tanaka Farms Pumpkin Patch. We swung by Grandma Nish's house to pick her up and then drove to Irvine to meet Uncle Marcus and family friends~
Jayden and Drew had an especially good time on the tractor ride. They kept yelling and laughing, "so bumpy!"~
Riley hung out for a while on my back~
Auntie/Grandma Karen with Quinn~
Drew, Chase and Jayden LOVED running and jumping off the hay bales. They would've been happy to spend our whole time running and jumping from bale to bale~
We visited the "petting zoo" section. At first Jayden was afraid of the animals and wouldn't let me put her down~
She eventually got the courage to pet a baby~
The older ones conquered the corn maze and kept shouting, "the kids won!"~
We had a great time at Tanaka Farms! We took home some pumpkins and a few vegetables (green beans, carrots, green onions and radishes) and lots of dirt in our clothes. Lol. Jayden and Chase really enjoyed eating the carrots - dipped in lots of salt!
It looks like you had such a nice busy day with the kids and some relatives. You have so many opportunities to get outside and enjoy that sunny weather. Thanks again for sharing your pictures with us.
