Port Townsend 2013

For Mother's Day, we went to the Bayview Cafe and had a delicious brunch~

Chase did arts and crafts while we waited. Grandma Logue let him bring scissors, glue, paper~

Jayden loved eating all the berries from my french toast~

Chase enjoyed his toast~

Chase and Jayden love playing outside in the backyard~

Jayden loves the preschool room. She especially loves to use the markers. She wants to just take the cap on and off, over and over~

Chase attended Grandma's preschool~

Jayden is too young for the preschool, but she was able to come down for snack and playtime~

We celebrated Papa's birthday on May 15th~

On The Road To The Final Four

Uncle Mar is the head baseball coach for South Kitsap High School. His team had a District Tournament playoff the weekend we arrived in Seattle, so we went straight from SeaTac to the ball field. South Kitsap won its first game 11-1 vs Emerald Ridge and we arrived a little bit too late to watch. Luckily, we got to see them play at 7PM that same day. In the meantime, we spent time with Papa and Grandma Logue~

We played at the nearby park. Chase had a great time on the slide~

Jayden loves the swings~

Papa and Chase went on a "bear hunt"~

We had lots of treats~

Uncle Mar and his assistant coach have vowed not to shave until it's all over~

Unfortunately, South Kitsap lost the 7PM game to Puyallup 3-9, but we had a fun time watching Uncle Mar coach. South Kitsap earned the #2 seed going into the State Tournament.

The following Saturday was the start of the State Tournament. South Kitsap first beat Jackson 3-0 at 10am and then went on to beat Woodinville 4-1 at 4PM. We were so ecstatic! South Kitsap will now play for one of the "top four" State Baseball Team slots in Pasco, WA on May 24th.

Chase got a special treat before the Woodinville game. One of the tourney officials gave him a game ball that was no longer needed. It was a wonderful coincidence that he got one because he had been asking for one while we were at lunch earlier that day~

Easter - 2013

We had a quiet Easter celebration. First we hid a couple of baskets (one from the Endows and the other from us) around the house. Chase was excited and helped Jayden to find her baskets because they were hidden in plain sight.

After a slight tantrum because he couldn’t find any of his baskets, Chase rebounded into a better mood when Tanner helped him find his first basket~IMG_9542

Happy kids with their loot~

Next Tanner and Chase went bug hunting in the backyard because Chase got a bug-catcher set in one of his baskets~

Of course, Chase couldn’t find any and got frustrated that their wasn’t a SINGLE bug in the whole entire backyard~

Jayden tried to help find bugs too. She came prepared with her purse and bracelet. Jayden is a true little lady who loves accessories – shoes, purses and bracelets~

Jayden is also good with yard work~IMG_9588

Most families probably go to church, but we went to Vons because I forgot to buy eggs for coloring~

Chase has such a good memory when it’s to his benefit. Usually when I take the kids to Vons, he always wants to ride in this green car and I always tell him “you can ride in it when Daddy’s with you because it’s too heavy for me to push”. So of course, the first thing he says when we pull into the parking lot, “Mommy, since Daddy’s here, can we ride in the green car?” and he grinded us into letting him have a chocolate egg. Good thing Jayden was confused on what it was otherwise she would’ve wanted one too~

In the afternoon, Kamery, Scott, Tyler, Grandma Nish and Ron came over. They had a good time coloring the eggs. Chase made sure that all his eggs had a designated drying place that couldn’t hold eggs made by Jayden or Tyler, lol. As the oldest of three, I shamefully admit that I remember acting like him too~IMG_1369IMG_1371IMG_1373IMG_1375

Unfortunately, whenever we let Jayden or Tyler hold an egg they threw it down on the floor~

Uncle Scott did Jayden’s hair stylishly with a marker~

Uncle Marcuse watched as Chase and Jayden both tried to fit in one box. Chase was pretending it was a car and Jayden always wants to do whatever he’s doing~

After dinner, we got a visit from our newest cousin, Jake~
