Everyday Chase is so excited and happy to play with the neighborhood kids. There's quite a lot of kids aged 6-13 and the older ones are really nice to the younger ones. They've been playing soccer, basketball, water balloon fights, etc. The latest interest is in making a tree house. Chase climbed a tree for the first time today. At first he was scared to climb down, but after practicing a few times he got the hang of it!

Door Decoration for Teacher Appreciation
Chase's kindergarten teacher is really fantastic! She's warm, caring and is able to teach in the most wonderful way. She really is a superhero. I had a fun time decorating her door for teacher appreciation week.
The kids really got a kick out of Mrs. G's face on a superhero body~

Chase T-Ball 3/22/15
Chase had his third Tball game of the season. He's a little silly on defense, but he's been hitting really well. He has a good time playing, especially with his good friend Tyce.
I tried to bring some entertainment for Jayden...she loved trying on press-on nails and painting them.
Chase did great at the plate. He got a hit off the coach's pitch at all four bats.

Bobble head Riley
The girls never want to just sit and watch Chase practice...so I never know what he's doing...
Sisters at the park
Playing nicely at Anderson Park - Jayden calls it "the blue park". She wants to play with "friends", but needs me " to go talk to them". It's been nice, we usually can find a little girl around Jay's age that she plays with for a hour while Riley runs around crazily.

Little helper
Riley likes to help me (when it suits her) put the k-cups in their stand. This kept her occupied for a good 15 minutes so I could get the dishes done. She has no clothes on because when she eats she likes to throw her bib on the floor and then dump all her food on herself. She's a special one!

Playing at the park
Riley likes going to the park too. Her favorite activity is swinging. She'll usually swing on one swing for two minutes and then demand to go to the next swing for two minutes before demanding to go back to the original swing. I think she has control issues. lol
Lying about homework <sigh>
I thought we had a couple more years before Chase would start hiding homework. He really didn't want to read his poem in front of his class...
He said (while crying), " I was scared, so I got a bad thought in my head."

His punishment for lying is to not play with the neighborhood kids this afternoon. He's crushed. He keeps looking out the front window at everyone playing.
