Hawaii 2014

Tanner and I had the time of our lives in Hawaii! Our college friends (big Husky fans) were going for vacation and to catch the Huskies play the Warriors - and so we tagged along. SANS kids! It was wonderful. We're so grateful that my family and Tanner's family took care of the kids while we were away! We needed a break from them and 6 nights in Maui and 3 nights in Oahu were just what we needed. No responsibilities, no schedules, we simply ate delicious food, drank yummy drinks, laid at the pool, snorkeled, exercised, read, slept, WHENEVER WE WANTED TO!

The game was too close for comfort, but luckily the Huskies came out on top. It was awesome to be in Hawaii for the first football game of the season. We want to do this every year! ha ha, in our dreams...

Status Update 8/4/14

• Had Jessica's bridal shower yesterday at Maggiano's. Everything went so wonderfully well. Food and service were great and everyone seemed to have a great time. Jessica was very happy.
• Jayden loves to play pretend -
• In her kitchen making us dinner
• Having a tea party with Riley
• Being a Doctor or the patient
• Singing "let it go" while wearing her blanket has a cape out of her diaper
• Having phone conversations on her toy phone:
• "Hello Ballerina, you good? I good too. Okay, bye"
• Jayden is still not into potty training, I have yet to see her go in the potty. She knows when she has to poop because she'll go into another room and hide while she's doing it and then come find me to change her.
• Jayden has a hard time saying her "s" sounds:
• "I want to see" sounds like "I want to pee". 
• "put on your seat belt" sounds like "Put on your peat belt"
• Her "f" sounds also sound like "p"
• Chase is playing YMCA basketball and loves to pretend he's an American Ninja Warrior. He loves to turn our house into an obstacle course.
• Riley is starting to stand. Likes to cruise around furniture, lifts both arms and balances for a few moments
• Currently has 6 teeth, but starting to see swollen gums on either side of her bottom four teeth.

At Mammoth - saw Planes, Fire & Rescue. Chase and Jay were a bit scared when the fire was spreading and trapping all the cars....but when Dusty flew up the waterfall and then right before his descent in slow mo, Jayden yelled out, "HE DID IT!!", and a bit later "Mommy, he did it!"
