After a slight tantrum because he couldn’t find any of his baskets, Chase rebounded into a better mood when Tanner helped him find his first basket~
Happy kids with their loot~
Next Tanner and Chase went bug hunting in the backyard because Chase got a bug-catcher set in one of his baskets~
Of course, Chase couldn’t find any and got frustrated that their wasn’t a SINGLE bug in the whole entire backyard~
Jayden tried to help find bugs too. She came prepared with her purse and bracelet. Jayden is a true little lady who loves accessories – shoes, purses and bracelets~
Jayden is also good with yard work~
Most families probably go to church, but we went to Vons because I forgot to buy eggs for coloring~
Chase has such a good memory when it’s to his benefit. Usually when I take the kids to Vons, he always wants to ride in this green car and I always tell him “you can ride in it when Daddy’s with you because it’s too heavy for me to push”. So of course, the first thing he says when we pull into the parking lot, “Mommy, since Daddy’s here, can we ride in the green car?” and he grinded us into letting him have a chocolate egg. Good thing Jayden was confused on what it was otherwise she would’ve wanted one too~
In the afternoon, Kamery, Scott, Tyler, Grandma Nish and Ron came over. They had a good time coloring the eggs. Chase made sure that all his eggs had a designated drying place that couldn’t hold eggs made by Jayden or Tyler, lol. As the oldest of three, I shamefully admit that I remember acting like him too~
Unfortunately, whenever we let Jayden or Tyler hold an egg they threw it down on the floor~
Uncle Scott did Jayden’s hair stylishly with a marker~
Uncle Marcuse watched as Chase and Jayden both tried to fit in one box. Chase was pretending it was a car and Jayden always wants to do whatever he’s doing~
After dinner, we got a visit from our newest cousin, Jake~
